Of course, it’s the only way. Scientists don’t have time to work through all the rational and ethical reasons whether or not they should do something. They need philosophers to guide them. And, in turn, philosophers don’t have time to do all the experiments themselves and need the results of scientists in order to confirm or deny old theories and develop new theories.
